Promos finish and the timetable goes quiet until JC2 starts. The Headstart Programme uses that gap: three pre-headstart sessions from 20 October, then nine lessons of content and technique through November and December.
Regular lessons pause for the promotional examinations and the timetable does not fully restart until JC2 begins. Most JC1 students stop entirely. It is the one long stretch of uninterrupted time in the GP course, and it falls precisely where the subject changes: JC2 assumes content you have not covered and technique nobody has taught you explicitly.
Science and technology, economics and politics, society and culture, and the local to global lens, so JC2 starts from depth rather than scratch.

The three pre-headstart sessions and the first Headstart lesson each run twice, once at Kovan and once at Coronation Plaza, so you attend whichever suits you. The eight lessons that follow are taught as four double sessions at Coronation Plaza, with dinner or lunch provided. Every lesson is live streamed and recorded, so a clash is not a missed lesson.

The Headstart Programme is $1,200 for the twelve lessons, which is $100 a lesson. Volume Four, the book the programme is taught from, comes with it, and every student also keeps four recorded Term 3 lessons and the Term 3 textbook. GP Headstart 2026, JC1for 12 lessons, $100 each
Every Headstart student receives Volume Four, the Term 4 2026 General Paper book, included in the fee and yours to keep. Its chapters are the programme: The Truman Show, the mock parliament, the 2026 paper, technology and power, the two essay chapters, the two comprehension chapters, healthcare and education, polarisation, housing in Singapore, and the international organisations chapter. One chapter per lesson, which is why the contents page below reads like the timetable. These are real pages from the print build.
